space.to.think

there's nothing neurotic about me. I just want to write. So I'm 19 and I've made a decision to write. This is as far as my synopsis goes. Except for that I'm a vegeterian Arian Melbournian with the most special'st boy in the land that I've roamed: which only consists of 4 states of my home land Australia (maybe more). I also occasionally enjoy overdosing on female hormones and putting my poor prince through hell. I love you.

Bad Manners

How rude of me. I forgot to mention that I've got this other blog where I've been hanging out...

like a turkey she was!

I guess I'm falling into old ways: never posting-OR-making irregular posts like

date:
today i met a boy

date:
i went to maccaz today. Oh, I should mention I'm divorcing that boy that I wrote about last time I was here.

Having said that. I'm now working at that place that I went for the interview, and have been for a week now.
These days it's not laziness (only) keeping me from blogs now. It's my undying fatigue and a persistant cold. It's mainly the head and the nose but it's amazing the difference it makes to your energy capacity. Severe lack of oxygen I think.
Back to the job. It's retail. We have some lovely (also strange) customers. Mostly hospitality regulars - as we sell catering/front of shop/bar stuff, which I'm doing a decent job of pretending to know a lot about. I nearly mad a rather large sell today!
Nearly.
Count your blessings - my head is way to stuffy to continue posting.

Prospects.

I had an interview yesterday. It's sooo hard to know what to wear when it's 35 degrees. All I wanted to wear was my thai elephant pants (which I usually use as pyjamas) and my silky blue singlet. What I did wear was more appropriate and luckily so because I think every other aspect of it went well. It's retail by the way - except retail with good hours. Normal hours. Like 9-5 Monday Friday hours. Good hours. Although it means I'll be sharing Footscray Rd with the rest of the Western suburbs in mornings and arvo's but at least I'll have a life and wont have to ever leave the house at 6.20am again!

..How much do I love him??

This morning I received a bill from an indisclosed telecommunications company.
There were calls to a number I didn't recognise, totalling to $39.01. I rang the number to make sure I didn't know anyone there, and was reassured by "Greg, Iris & Sally" of that very fact.
I called this company to tell them that I deserved credit. I spoke to 4 people before someone actually hung up on me. I called back, spoke to one person who recommended I go into one of their stores.

I was met at their Bourke St store by a very rude woman who seemed to think I was a moran. She spoke over the top of me, cut me off and didn't listen at all.

I left the store and cried on a bench. Jacques, with me all along got sick of seeing me angry and upset and went back in. 45 minutes later he came back, "..how much do you love me?
Jacques got us the $40.00 PLUS an additional $40.00 for goodwill.

Enlightened Travel Plans

A small amount of light has cast itself on our travel plans, at last.
I called the agent back to tell her about how I found a cheaper deal on a different airline, to which she said she'd "check it out". I thought she was just making tapping sounds against the keyboard until she said "oh. wait. I'll just double check that I've done this right" (as if I couldn't possibly have done her job for her).. "I don't know how I missed it last time, but there's a cheaper flight on this other.." (yes..).."..airline".

So Jacques and I have two seats being held for us on this flight. Still, however, payment has to be maid by Mid March, the same as rent and rego.

If you're a travel agent and can make me a better offer, leave me a comment.

Jacques, stop looking over my shoulder!!

It's jacques birthday in two days. I'd like to share with you all what I'm getting him, except that his workstation is next to mine and he's reading over my shoulder. I'll get up early tomorrow and buy it, exciting!

We're going to lunch with Eva & Bjorn tomorrow to celebrate, in full Swedish tradition (princess torta and all!) at Swedes Cafe in Hampton. I hope there's grav lax!

For tonight though, it's just nip/tuck and cuddles, then posting to blogs in the adds.
